TESTIMONIALS

YouthBuild

adonica“I have to admit I was unsure and a little afraid when I started the program. I knew I needed to get my GED and my options were limited. Thanks to the staff, support, and efforts of the entire YouthBuild team I am on the right track. It just goes to show that I didn’t need to have everything mapped out… I just needed to keep taking the next step forward. Now, not only am I proud of my accomplishments, so is my family.”

Adult Re-Entry, Generation 4

IMG_2093“The first day I came in I realized I wasn’t alone. Then, after seeing how the CTS staff cared I started thinking: ‘Maybe I can do this’. Now, here we are months later and I’m making a living doing construction work. My job is literally rebuilding the community — imagine that! This is a long way from where I started and I’m happy to have had the support and encouragement of so many people who have overcome similar challenges. One thing I always keep in mind is that I was never — and I am never — alone. I can do this!”

Job Preparation Training

DSCN2656“We spent a lot of time going over things like interview skills, resumes, appropriate behavior in the work place, and thinking about a career instead of just having a job. It was a lot to take in but I learned so much. Now I’m on my way. I understand that I’m responsible for my own future and with hard work and patience, I can become anything I want to. I got so much from the program. Thanks CTS!”

Access To Recovery

IMG_2440“As a Law Enforcement Professional I see the results of drug and alcohol addiction all the time. These influences can be especially challenging for individuals coming back to the community who don’t have a solid support group around them. My experiences with CTS and my observations of their clients lead me to believe CTS has a solid recipe for success. It seems at every level there is a measure of concern and professionalism that compels the participants to do their best.”
